That price isn't too amazing. I've seen them go for that much on regular sales. It's going for cheap because Canon is rolling in the MG5120. It's really funny that the MP560 is selling for $149 on Canon's wedsite but the brand new MG5120 is selling for $109. Canon is truly going the way of Lexmark. Razor and blades taken to the new corporate paradigm. 100 years from now it won't be known as a razor and blades business model, it'll be known as the printer and ink business model.

I had just noticed that and updated my other post. Now that's a heck of a deal. If not for the fact my wife would shoot me, I would order several of them. I have too many printers already.
I called my brother who owns an MP640 and got him to order one. His first thought was that he didn't need another printer until I asked him what he paid for his last set of OEM cartridges.

Is there gray ink available to refill the gray cartridge? Also, can you reset the gray chip with the normal CLI-221 chip resetter?

I played shortly with one recently...at a customer.

It seemed awfully slow though...

I wonder if most CLI-221 resetters can reset the gray?
