Have just finished with my IP 4200 (worn out) and have a good deal of bulk ink as yet unused. Could I use this in my new MP 550 which uses the new 520/521 carts?
Does anyone know if the differences between inks are actually significant?? I have been refilling carts for >6 years and have never had probs in using (say) Epson ink in Canon and vice versa!! Thanks in advance for your insights/superior knowledge!!! Brian

You posted a similar question in an earlier thread which I answered for you but
I will have to say a big no to using any Epson ink in a Canon printer, is will destroy your print head..:(

I accidentally did use Epson ink in my HP, but just a little bit, and now my yellow doesn't print anymore.

Does it mean my (yellow) printhead die??

I'm trying to unclog and clear any leftover ink inside the printhead as I found InkMate for HP now...

At a guess, I would say that its probably not dead but just clogged up.. :(
