Best test printers (What printers are compatible with the most carts)

I need to get some printers to test carts after they've been refilled. specifically hp 90s carts, but also Dell/lexmark, and cannon, some printers are compatible with multiple carts, so what printers are compatible with the most cartridges in order to save space in my little shop. I don't think I can afford a fancy test printer design specifically for this purpose. But if anyone knows of an affordable solution please let me know.

I'd also be very grateful if someone had any info Re. this area - currently stocking up on printers to get a good selection to enable testing so any multi-compatible printers hints would be gratefully received.

I went through tis a few years ago...eBay is your best bet for older, used printers. As an example, some lexmark models can be used to test a variety of lexmark and Dell cartridges...
