You think that was bad, I was referring to him as Dutch for years, knowing full well he’s from Copenhagen... but @PeterBJ is a very forgiving guy...

I have now started the fading test of the Canon OEM bottled inks in comparison with other inks. See this.

As the Canon G-series printers use print heads that are modified combined print head/sponge cartridges, I think the bottled Canon inks are very good refill inks for the Canon 2 cartridge printers. I will also test that.

Hey Guys,
A little advice please if thats ok.
I have the OEM refill kit from octoinkjet.com for the IP8750 and all is good.

Question.
I have got a lot of genuine bottled epson 102 ink , Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow.
Is this ok to use in the equivalent refill cartridges i have. ?

i know i need grey and 550 pigment black as well, just wondered if it would be a good idea, being genuine ink ?

Don't do it. Ink for Epson printers, genuine or not, is not suitable for use in a Canon printer. Epson and Canon use different printhead technologies, and different ink properties are needed for the two printer brands.

thought it would be better than using compatible cartridges (3rd party) if i wanted to, but advice heeded. cheers

Hey guys,
So i decided to plumb for the octoink ip8750 refill kit with original cartridges and the new V2 ink.
The carts come prefilled but which way are people filling them after that.

I have watched the videos and there are 3 ways to choose from just wondered which ways people had found the easiest and best.

Could you please link to the products you bought and to the instruction videos? I think the cartridges could be refilled the same way as they were remanufactured, but I need some info to give a suggestion.
