I ended up buying a Brother brother MFCJ265W AIO with fax too on sale new for $50, normally $100. Havent used it much, but no problems so far other than it will turn itself on in the middle of the night to do something, not sure what. It sounds like its doing a cleaning or maintenance cycle. Is that necessary and is there a way to stop it besides unplugging it?
Also, I did not realize the Brother would only have 1 paper feed, in the carriage tray under the unit. I miss my old Canon that had 2 paper feeders, with the ability to feed paper from either the tray underneath or on top at the back.
