- Epson R3000
I've been reading a bunch of threads here and on dpreview over the last week or so but have struggled to find a 'definitive' answer. I just bought an Epson R3000 printer and am trying to figure out the best ink to buy.
I'd rather it be pigment ink, and having a wide colour gamut is more important to me than getting neutral black and white printers (although, of course, having both would be nice). I'll probably be printing on a fairly wide range of media, both matte and glossy. I don't mind paying more for better ink, as long as they're still significantly cheaper that Epson's cartridges. If anyone can offer any recommendations they'd be much appreciated. I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.
I've been looking at inkjetfly, Image Specialists, inkrepublic and OCP (although I don't know where to buy OCP ink from) in particular but have struggled to find concrete information on the pros and cons of them all.
