best inexpensive CIS system for Epson R280/R380

I actually have one Epson R280 and one R380 (got the R280 free after rebate just to get replacement ink for the R380). I'd like to get a CIS system that works for both. There are several listed on eBay for just under $40, and some for more than that, and I see a few listed in these forums for over $100. Is it really a "get what you pay for" situation, or are any of the less expensive ones decent? I'm not terribly picky about print quality - I just need it to be reasonable, and I don't mind a little work installing and maintaining it. I just don't want to pay $40 and then have it break after a month or leak all over and ruin my printer, etc.

huge, I can't speak to any of your options, but I can tell you that I have a CISS from eBay seller superEseller:

I've had the one for the R200 and used it for a couple years before it died (the printer) then moved it to a R220. The R220 has died (clogged print head) but I had used it for a couple years as well. So the CISS has lasted me about 4-years. I've bought several refill kits (ink bottles) from him as well over the years.

thanks msmart - good to have a personal recommendation on one that works well ... I'd love to find one for less money though, if possible. Does anyone have experience with any cheaper options, the ones I listed or otherwise?

(not dismissing your suggestion - if everyone says "buck up and spend the money" I guess I will)

yeah i have a RX595 and i am looking for an affordable option too. anybody experience with these systems or are we going to be the first to review them
