BCI 6 OEM ink into CLI 8 tanks??

OMG! Those pictures make me scare of OEM ink cartridges and also refilling ink cartridges! Will this happen with all ink? I'm using HP and refill my cartridges with InkTec ink (good one, not the fake "china" one!). I tried smelling the ink in OEM cart and InkTec bottle, and notice of virtually no alcohol smell.

By the way, if in case our lovely printhead gets clogged up by those organic stuff, how can we unclog it? Or we have to replace the whole thing?

The "Canon Inkjet Printers - Refilling & Troubleshooting" forum contains several thousand threads, but only very few threads about "infected cartridges" so I think the risk of getting a such contaminated cartridge is almost non-existent. Note that the defective cartridge owned by Rixx was not OEM but counterfeit. So I think you can relax and forget the risk.
