Banding issue - Artisan 710 - alignment not improving issue

Hi. I have an Artisan 710 that I have been trying to keep alive. I recently have reset the waste ink counter with OctoInkjet and I also worked on unclogging the nozzles by turning the printer on, waiting for the printhead to move off the resting pad, unplugging the printer, and taking a paper towel and soaking up excess ink from the resting pad. Then I did a head cleaning and was able to get a successful nozzle check. However since doing so I have had problems with what appears to be the alignment.
I did move it manually also so I don't know if I messed up the printhead.

I have run several alignments and I keep getting orange bands in every box which I have never seen before. And when I print a photo there are lines on the entire photo. (see images attached).

I use the Piano Book CISS from Leonard John and have three artisan 710's that i have been using interchangeably for 4 or 5 years. They all are giving me issues.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might get this one working again?

it is quite possible that a nozzle is missing, please check the nozzle check print carefully, missing outer nozzles are sometimes difficult to detect, because there is no other nozzle line framing them.

There maybe a build up of stray ink on your timing strip and on the paper alignment wheel, these two examples are from a Canon printer but do the same job, try cleaning these two plastic items and see if that makes a difference.

Use a small paper cloth soaked in Windex or Alcohol and that will remover every bit of ink build up..

Thank-you both for your suggestions. I did the following. Purged the air from all cartridges by removing the caps and letting the ink flow through the lines. Then I cleaned the timing strip and paper alignment wheel with alcohol (I think I got the right parts). I also cleaned the gold contacts on the cartridges and also where they connect on the printer. And I dabbed ink from the resting pad again.
Then I ran a nozzle check and had some missing black and light cyan nozzles so I ran a total of three cleanings and still have 2 missing light cyan and three or four missing black nozzles. I did print a new card and from naked eye the banding is not noticeable (though my eyesight isn't the best). When I look at the enlarged scan I do see banding and don't know if this is just normal or not.
I am enclosing more images of all. Not sure what else to do to get missing nozzles back and a bit concerned that this problem will repeat itself. Thanks much for the information you have given. It has helped!
