Now the thread is back to showing a green lock - meaning it is secure - on both page one and page 2 (starts with Emu's post #11).

BUT... after typing out this post, thought before posting it, the page turned to incompletely secure with the grey-out lock and the yellow triangle as I described in an earlier post after I clicked on the smiley face icon to choose the shrugging emoticon . :idunno

The page remained incompletely secured after I posted the comment. Clicking "back page" to go back to the first page in the thread caused the return of the green lock demonstrating a secure page and remained so after returning to the 2nd page.

It appears that the emoticons caused the security issue, which seems to be aligned with the example given as reason for an incompletely secure page as stated in the image I posted in my post #8.

This is a werid one :ep

There is one unsecure item on the site according to the site I always use to check for insecure items when I designing websites (https://www.whynopadlock.com/)

http://www.printerknowledge.com/favicon.ico

If you paste the favicon url into your browser it is acually secure.

So either you quick acting admins have fixed it and whynopadlock.com cache has not yet caught up or there is something weird going on o_O

I get the same issue of an incompletely secure web page when I click on the smiley face icon to bring up the list of emoji's ? emoticons to add to the post.

The behavior of some threads is strange, if you look at "It doesn't Rain but it Pours !..."page one" padlock is OK", but "page two" padlock shows insecurity.

Sometimes a page can show "not secure" if someone has inserted an image or smiley from a non https site. Since PK is on https, it will show the whole page as "not secure" even when it's only one image that is http
