I've been using an R2000 with a CISS from cityink for some time now, with excellent results.
However, there is a problem with the chips. While they are advertised as Auto-reset, what usually happens is that one of two colours always reaches empty and I have to manually reset the chips, forcing the printer to go through its priming cycle. This always happens with the Magenta or the Cyan chip, never for any other colour, even for the GO that's probably been used the most.
Is anyone else experiencing this with their setup? Do you know of any supplier of real auto-reset chips for the r2000?
Or, is there a way to bypass the priming each time the chips get to the empty state and have to be reset? I've tried resetting them while the printer is off, before they reach the empty state, without removing them from the printer, but that didn't solve the problem, the printer would go through the priming cycle once turned back on.
