Artisan 837 will not recognized my cis in Window 8.

Hi! My Artisan 837 will not recognized the cis in Window 8. Is there new chips out there that can be recognized? Or is there a way to reload the old firm ware? Thanks.

Did you install it with a driver from here?

Are your OEM chips not being recognized? Or are you talking about Refillable Carts with ARCs?

I am running an Artisan 720 on Win 8 with Inkjetcarts.us dampers and chip bar without any problems.

Thanks for replying. I installed the Epson driver directly from Epson. I am using Continuous Ink System from Print On A Dime. I brought the cis around Dec. 1st. I like to find out if newer chips are out that will solve my problems. Print On A Dime does not have the new chips yet.

The OS should not have anything to do with your chips not being recognized. Your printer's firmware does. I am not sure you can go back to an earlier one.
Print on a dime is not what I would call one of the Main Standard 3rd Party Companies out there. You might have to re tool with a modern CISS unit is you still want to use one or go with refillables coded for your 837.

PrecisionColors or Inkjetcarts if in the USA would be sure choices.
