I believe you use a Mac so yo have another option using ColorSync Utility build into the Mac software.
First you open your file:

Then you go to print

Now things may be different at some point yet this is what I get. You want to set the print mode to Print Target.
I also set the sacle to 100% though that should not matter

Now this part is specific to the printer driver yet here is what it looks like for the Epson p900.
You want to select the paper options and quality level as you would under normal printing conditions.
For me that was Epson Ultra Premium Luster
And for print quality I used High Quality

Note that it tells you color maangement is off because you already selected to use the "Print Target" mode.

There is also a Colorsync version for Windows or use Qimage, where it is possible to disable color management completely

Alternatively: is (for older versions of Photoshop). First assign the sRGB/Epson RGB to the file you want to print and in the printer windows of Photoshop choose as printer profile: sRGB/Epson RGB (again) and rendering intent: relative colorimetric and BPC: on and in the printer driver options: color management: off/disable. This will give the same effect als no colormanagement. NOTE: newer version will give you the error that it is not possible to print without color management and you will have to use the free ColorSync app.

Great post and thank you. I had heard about issues with Photoshop not fully turning off color management yet have not seen the details. Is there another post or link to an article that explains the issue.

What is your opinion of the legacy Windows Print Photo app? Apparently, prints can be made without color management.

I would suggest that you do not waste your time, ink and paper playing with Windows Photo app. Windows colour management implementation is poor to say the least and AFAIK has not changed with Windows 11.

The Photo app originally was not colour managed that I believe has changed.

Adobe abandoned the option to turn off colour management at Photoshop CS5. At that time they came up with a very simple dedicated app Adobe Color Print Utility it one purpose to enable images to be sent to the printer without applying colour management - although you do need to make sure this is also turned off in the print driver.
