Hi pharmacist, the resetter that you were using, was it used on third party auto reset chip or EPSON Original Chip? If the resetter is used on EPSON Original Chip, how do you place the EPSON original chip on the refillable cartridges as the chip size are different?

This resetter can be used on both original as well aftermarket chips, even auto reset chips.

Two sets of refillable carts solve the DOMINO effect problem!
When one cart is empty out goes the complete set and replaced by a complete filled one.
I've been preaching that workflow to everyone since I began to refill.

Would removing and refilling all carts when one goes empty give the same results? Would they all reset to "full"? I'm new to this so I don't know what actually triggers the reset. I'm using Precision Colors' refillable carts ( and their ink, of course) and I am yet to perform my first refill. I have an Epson Artisan 1430 and according to the precisioncolors.com 1430 info page, the 1430 cannot use the manual arc resetter.

All of them! LOL
OK some chips have to reach empty and only then do they auto reset to full.
That's the case for some EPSON auto reset chips.
Many of the earlier EPSON Auto Reset Chips can also be reset with the correct 7 pin or 9 pin EPSON chip resetter.
Since you can not manually reset the 1430 chips then you are basically not able to perform this method.

Are there resetters to reset auto reset chips (of refillbles) manually? For epson R285 and relatively new refillable carts?

This resetter can be used on both original as well aftermarket chips, even auto reset chips.
Could you post a link or give further information to identify this resetter?

With my r285 and refillable carts with auto reset chips I have the same problem: if one is empty to be changed, then taking out and in would reset this cart.
BUT if I want to reset the others which are low too, taking out and putting in has no effect. Even when I take them out, then press the ink button, to let the printer blinking red because of missing carts, then put them in again - no auto reset, same (low) ink status.

Yes it does:

It says: T071 T080, T079, T044, T055, T061, T048

So quite a myriad of cartridges can be reset.
