I've got an Epson 837 that has a few clogged nozzles on the black channel. I've tried numerous head cleanings, head realignment and placing a Windex soaked paper towel under the printhead many times
but still no success. I've even removed the black cart and taken a squeeze bottle with long needle on it and squirted it into the receptacle beneath the cart. I'm positive it is several clogged nozzles because it repeats the same nozzle check over and over. If it were air in the lines the pattern would be different each time. This printer has had what I consider little use. It has, however, been used more than once per week in the 1 year since I bought it. I've gone through the carts that came with it and replaced them with PC ARC carts and PC ink and used about 2 oz of the refill ink. So that tells you how much it's been used. My question now to you is, is there anything you can suggest that I haven't tried to clear these nozzles. Should I just give up and toss it and cut my losses, vowing never to buy another printer without a removable printhead?
