Its very easy to do now that you have done the hard bit (Uploading).:hu

First click on the word Uploads on the top bar,
Next click on All MY Uploads
Then its only a matter of copying the image text into your new thread.. :thumbsup

The Hat. Thanks for info. Unfortunately my file is a dwg and so far have not found a way to convert it to a jpeg

Websnail. Great PDF on refilling. Did,nt know they existed, downloaded a copy in case I run into refilling problems.

I would think that these plus Pharmicist original great post is all Newbies need. Could they not be HIGHLIGHTED somewhere

so that the Newbie could access them and save a lot of repitive questions. Squeeze bottle method working fine, but i did

NOT know to keep pressure on when removing needle. So thats useful information

Hi barfl2

IrfanView lists .dwg files under supported file types, so it should be able to do the conversion to .jpg. Just open the .dwg file in IrfanView and click save as and choose .jpg under file type. In my opinion it's a great freeware program to view and convert image files. Download here: http://www.irfanview.com/ . You should also download the plugins/addons as this contains support for many file formats.

Peter.

The Hat http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/uploads/5268_drill-jig-plus-text-05-06.jpg Here hopefully is my suggestion for a drill template for the BC!-6/CL-8 Carts. Hopefully it will display 1:1 so that you can cut it out and stick it on your Carts. Alternatively members with a drawing program can create there own from the dimensions

IGNORE jpeg (nozzle scan) in previous post above which is the wrong thread

Nice work.

What would be possibly more accurate would be to make a jig out of one of the large sealing caps.

They are like this...

I say possibly more accurate as the paper template depends on the ability of the user to stick it down accurately each time.

If the end of the clip was accurate drilled then a cart would be held securely in the same position each time, and the whole thing held easily while drilling the fill hole.

Me, I'm just too lazy to do it! I found by studying several picture of refilling on the net I could make a small starter indent in the exact place on the cart (assisted by an eyeglass), then drill slowly by hand with a suitable hand drill.

I think your template will be very useful though to those not so certain of their abilities to accurate position the drill hole using their eyes alone.

One suggestion for your template. If you put a line at the top with an accurate calibration size, i.e. 50mm long, then others can check by measuring the line that their printer has produced the template at 1:1 ratio.

If you look at the following page and click on Stephenson protractor you can see an example of using the calibration line
