Hi,
I recently printed some B&W pages and the black ink cartridge (refillable) run out during printing...The printer had printed about 10 pages with faint print and bands before I found out what was going on. Refilled the cartridge pulled with the syringe some ink from the bottom cartridge to prime it (the syringe needs to be a little sideways) and reinstalled.
(No priming cycle in the printer was performed because the ink level showed as almost full)
From then on the nozzle check for the black is full of clogs. Did perform a couple of clean cycles and let it sit but while I saw improvement almost 30% of the black nozzles appear clogged. I suspect air bubble. What would be the best way to remove it?

Push with a syringe gently or pull?

PS. I will also try a priming cycle from within WIC reset if this could help (like the one that is performed when a new cartridge is installed), since such a cycle was not performed when I reinstalled the cartridge.

the priming by WicReset may work but consumes quite some ink going into the waste ink reservoir. You may try to clean the black ink channel with a syringe and some cleaner - pull / push a few times - the final push should fill the ink channel with cleaner leaving no space for any air. If the missing nozzles remain at the same location in the nozzle print you may have some clog somewhere, if missing nozzles are here and there and change the location something is impeding the ink flow - air or a restricted ink flow from the cartridge
