You’re not taken in what has already been stated, yes there are machines that will take a type of 400gm card, but they too have to compromise on the thickness, and laminate their cards to achieve the required stiffness.

There are no cheap answers to your quest, Canon printers can take heavy card stock, but you cannot use a CISS on these machines...

It's not the weight but the thickness. Standard cardboard or Bristol or Offset is thicker as coated paper of the same weight. So if you can run 350g Bristol or Offsett you can run easily 400g coated paper, maybe up to 450.

Some presses can go upto 470 gsm. Expensive but possible.
Intec and xante printers are not made by them but are modified versions of OKI.

You should be very careful of the claims made by printer manufactures, because they are describing digital and glossy paper weights, these papers are completely different to the normal board stock used for business cards.

300 gm. Photo paper is about the same weight and thickness of 120 gm board stock, so they are talking about apples while you’re thinking they mean oranges, But…. Read post #8 above..

I can fully understand your frustrations of not getting a definitive answer but Canon A3 printers can run 300 gm business card stock without jamming, and alternatively you could use a lighter card stock and Matte laminate afterwards for even greater thickness..

P.S. your biggest problem would be getting a supply of this type of suitable board, it is not supplied to individuals in small quantity...
