1400 series, black blurring/doubling, signs of a failing print head?

It seems that I can load 5 cartridges

Of which type are these cartridges - OEM or 3rd party or refill ? Do you have a resetter ? Do you have a complete set of OEM cartridges available ?
I can confirm that there are quite spooky things going on, I have seen similar things on a P400 with 3rd paty cartridges .

They are refillable cartridges. I have several types using two different chipsets (6.0 and 6.3) and all have this issue. I don't have any oem carts at hand at the moment. I did order a resetter at one point, I'll need to find it.

I'm afraid you need a set of cartridges which never have been used before in this printer, some cheaper 3rd party cartridges may do as well. I can tell you about some similar spooky effects with my WF-2010W as well.
