Sorry to tell you this but they are refillable, Been doing them for years.
It Depends on what part of the world you live in as to what type of ink goes in. The Americans use Pigmented ink for their Black us people down under use Die based ink.
You need to very careful what you put in. If your...
Just watched the video on Youtube. I got to say that looks like a very long and drawn out way to refill these cartridges.
I will post a video on youtube shortly and show you the right way to fill these :)

These are the new HP ink jet cartridges. Has anyone tried refilling these yet? I have one here in the workshop and just cut it open to get a better look at the workings of the cartridge. They seem to have a bladder in them, But not sure why because the bladder doesnt seem to hold any ink. There...
Hi, BGold.
The first thing you need to know is this. You can use die based ink to replace pigmented ink without any problems, you can not go the other way around or you will block your print head. The second thing you need to know is the new printers today use the color cartridges to print the...
It is probably the ink you are using that is clogging the printer. Once the printer stops printing a colour you normally have to strip it right down to get to the print head to clean it. You can try this. Empty your compatible cartridge and fill it with some Nozzel Rocket cleaning fluid and put...
You have to be careful with the aftermarket cartridges. If they are "Re-manufactured" cartridges then they should be no different from doing it your self with good quality ink, If they say "Compatible" cartridges then this a hole new ball game. Compatibles are cheap knock-offs and are normally...
You need to get a chip re-setter to reset the chip on the cartridge. i am surprised that you printer will still print after they were empty the first time. I fill hundreds of these cartridges a year and i always re-set the chip before i give them back to my customers.
hay guys have any of you had any experience with these cartridges? they are big cartridges and hold around 680ml of ink. i have a customer that has these and the chip on them has expired I have got some new chips to replace the expired ones but not sure how to get the plastic case off to get to...
if you want the the most expensive I would go for Static Control Components Inc, They do have the best Chips on the market, There powder is meant to be the best as well but I think my Chinese suppliers are just as good.
This is a warning for anyone that is filling the new HP61 color cartridges.
I have filled a few of these cartridges and have noticed that HP are now changing the color order of the cartridges. They are swapping the Magenta and yellow on some of these cartridges. Some cartridges are Cyan...
With the non OEM cartridges you will always get printers that will not accept the cartridge because of the chip. You will just have to take the risk and get one and see if it works.
I have a similar problem with one of those printers about 6 months ago. I did what you did and also put the head on my vacuum and tried to bleed the ink through that way. In the end it turned out the cartridge had a air flow problem and i just replaced it with a new one, did a head clean and it...
I always get my cartridges empty this way i can control what ink goes in them. There are so many cheap Chinese inks out there on the market today and 90% of them are very poor quality. I only use Sensient inks in my cartridges because it is the best on the market and i do not want to get a bad...
I have both types of the refillable cartridges here and I have had a fairly good run with both types. I have sold around 100 sets of these cartridges with mixed results. I have had 3 people bring them back for poor printing quality on the paper, and maybe 4 people that have told me their...
These cartridges are the most pain to refill, It is best to pull the cartridge apart. First remove the two springs from the cartridge. Next There is two pins one plastic and the other is metal. For the plastic pin get a small self tapping screw and screw it into the pin and then pull it out with...
