Short and sweet, since it looks like the OEM carts are starting to spike in price, what ink refill/CISS is the most reliable?
I'm sure I've asked this before, but no amount on searching has brought me back the answer. Thanks in advance!!
Still using OEM carts since they are super cheap---I went in a trip and took the printer (didn't get to use it) and just got it up and running. Everything is working great except when I look at my ink monitor it's all greyed out. It says my Cyan is low but I can't tell how low. I'd rather not...
Nope, I am in the boonies in East Tennessee.
I am forgetting Epson. I have no clue what horrible customer service I would get. I had to call my bank and explain that the pending charge was fraudulent and I wanted it notated on my account in case anything else happened
I ordered from B and H...
So I called them this morning, and ordered one. I told the rep I had already ordered one and it was in the process of being returned to their store because it was damaged. That was fine, no problem. I had a 10% off coupon. They refused to take it because it applied to everything but their fancy...
Ahh! I'll tuck away that knowledge for when I get a Canon.
I did not see the video, but I will look it up.
Exactly what I was planning, let warranty expire then move to refills.
I saw a post on tge german refill method? Is this what you are talking about or is there an actual refill cartridge? As you can see with my luck everything that can go wrong typically does, are there any drawbacks or warnings? Like if i use *insert ink name here* my printer will self destruct?
I have a cheap laser printer.
I wanted a fancy one. When I got response from Jtoolman about my R1900 issue he suggested the R2000 for the print quality. Im printing almost all on matte watercolor paper too. He explained the OEM ink was 12-20 dollars for a whole 8 color set. That made my ears...
Much agreed @CakeHole. I learned my lesson. I'm a gal who goes the the flea market and buys old electric doodads and fixes them (new components, electrics, etc) polishes them up, painted them and enjoys using them.
Seems to be new stuff just isn't that way. I tried to replace the motor on a...
Looks like I just missed an AMAZING deal on the Pro-10 too. You have me debating on getting 2 printers now. One as a workhorse and the other as a backup.
You can't beat the price of OEM ink on the R2000 right now. I'm a little leery using aftermarket ink before my warranty is up. Printer potty...
Having issues saying promo code is expired :/ According to someone on SD it expired yesterday. I always wander onto things the day after LOL! Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll have a new one.
Yep, after the lovely phone call and escalating to a manager that may be what I need to do CakeHole. I told them I wanted to buy a new printer with the credit and they seemed less than helpful. They still haven't sent me an RMA to return and refused to make a pickup with fedex earlier than 9/19...
OK I was offered again to WAIT----or get a total refund. Which....yea. That's cool actually. I told them I'd think on it and they said that was totally fine and to let them know. Unfortunately I couldn't MAKE THEM send me the next step up as a refurb---because they are actually out of All of the...
Cake---just to clear---she fiddled with the parts, not he . Epson did not tell me not to use it, I asked them what to do and they said to call back when they had another. I have 1 year warranty regardless.
I keep getting told I needed to return it. I get that. I TRIED. It was a weekend...
I have now cleaned the waste ink pads under the resting print head. I'll let it sit for a bit. I also cleaned the wiper blade. There are definitely drops of ink around. But thats to be expected.
These are what I am getting. Its not just a single line. I have aligned the head. Kinda at a loss...
Cakehole, if you read the other thread---I contacted them as soon as I opened the box, they told me to call back next week. It's been over the weekend when there customer service is closed.
I'm not the kind of person that waits a month for a printer, then doesn't try to use it. Considering...
I actually contacted Epson as soon as I opened the box. The shipper dropped of the printer next door so I did not even notice the slight damage to the box until they had left.
I have dated and time stamped photos as well of the damage. I pressed the point of replacing my printer for an hour...
