Thanks, tried all that, just wondered if there was a micro switch or something which has not reset itself to normal paper thickness?

Hi I have printed many many documents on this printer, never had a problem. Recently I printed some 250gsm glossy photo paper 6" x 4" which printed fine. Since then though when using normal plain paper, the sheet feeder takes more than one sheet every time, not exactly aligned, then struggles...
