do you have to move the Colormunki much slower when using a smaller printed testchart? Can I also cut A4 sheets in two A5 and then in the printer choose A5 and enable "fit to size"?
Edit: I just tried and cut a small cardboard template for moving the Colormunki on the A5 print, it just worked...
Sorry I was wrong. The Chip resetter has no exact guiding slot for the cartridges so I missed the exact pins on the cartridges. After a helpful mail contact with Farbenwerk I retried and voilà all carts are reset. This is very convenient because I normally refill all carts when one is empty and...
I just got the refillable Cartridges from Aliexpress and mounted the Chip from the original cartridges because they are transperant where you can see the ink level and they are easier to refill. I hoped, but I cannot reset a cartridge what has not shown the yellow empty signal, the old ink level...
just got the parcel from Farbenwerk. I refilled an original Epson cartridge according to their method by stitching a hole under the valve:
http://files.farbenwerk.com/pdf/Befüllung-SCP900-SCP700-Original.pdf
and reset the the chip with the resetter from Farbenwerk. Everything seems to work, now...
in the meantime I got the p900. One of the grey carts is very low so I cannot print very much with OEM material, but some first attemps on Epson prof. glossy paper are dissapointing using Epson profiles only with the max. print settings the strawberry got printed fine otherwise a tend towards...
Nobody? What do you experts think about the Black Enhance Overcoat-Technology? Can this be done with 3rd party ink sets or is there a secret in the Epson Pro-10 inks for this effect?
I also would like to upgrade from my p800 to the p900. I read lot about good results on glossy paper for the Epson Ultrachreme Pro-10 inks. Is there a source of 3rd party refill inks which give similar good results on glosyy paper like the Epson Pro-10 inks?
in the meantime I found a pack of A3 screen print film what works (Agfa Cop Jet). Printsetting I used were for Archival matte paper. If this works for Cyanotype I'll have to find A2 or roll material :):):)
Hi all,
for Cyanotype exposures I want to print a negative on a transparency film which blocks the UV light while doing contact copys. I tried transparent drawing paper I used years ago for doing technical drawings with black ink. This paper does not absorb ink and with all settings I tried on...
I'm also from Germany, the P800 looks also fine and will be much cheaper to run on third party stuff. I read the Precisioncolor Homepage. So 12x autoreset chip are 12x25=300$ on the other hand a set of empty, autoreset-chipped cartridges for the P800 are 50$ an aliexpress...
Is the question...
update after a year: It took rather a lot of prints until the old OCP Magenta ink was flushed out. Later (after new profiling :-) ) I have good results and a much better even gloss on my prints. So thanks for the hint of swapping the OCP Magentas for OEM Magentas!!!
Currently I'm think about...
a long time I was very happy with the semigloss TPI paper:
https://www.printerknowledge.com/threads/thanks-to-lothman-tpi-photo-paper-from-conrad-is-just-fabulous.5056/
but this paper is no longer available. So I found a seller on eBay with a very good alternative. It is sold under the Label...
no in my opinion it is no paper jam. If I pull out the paper it has o damage or dents.
If I reuse the very same paper with the epson printing tool it works. There is also no format warning.
I hope anybody can help me. If I print from Photoshop n 10x15 paper (300g lustre), the printer draws the paper in (correct in my eyes) but then gives a paper jam alert again and again.
if I use the same paper on A5 / A4 / A3 there is no problem.
if I use the 10x15cm Paper with the epson...
in the meantime I put in two new cartrdges with OEM VM and LVM ink, after 2 cleaning cycles and printing two a4 sheet with a magenta rectangular I still see only a very small improvement over the OCP ink. The magenta areas a still matte on glossy paper.
Any recommendations?
