Hi all,
I am so sorry for not replying till now.
I'm in a remote location with little internet service until tonight at least.
I used the Pro strength formula that will indeed eat plastice if used in full strength.
Diluting it with pharmacist's formula i have made up in 2 strengths (one with...
Having a clogged printhead on my I900D going off and on to be just OK using conventional cleaning methods spurred me into buying another head.
Same goes for an i6600D that i picked up locally for 30 bucks. The 6600 had been used by the seller a few years ago until it ran out of ink, and was then...
I whole heartily agree, and i confirmed my admiration for Mike's offer and his willingness to be as honest as as is..............God forbid, i am never unhappy with buying from Mike.
But, i just asked for a simple answer to a simple and honest question that i feel i asked in good...
LOL mikling,
I'm in no hurry, just know how subjects get lost after a while..............and Geez, i asked a simple question as i had just bought all the ink late last year and now get to throw it in the garbage.
Sorry for stepping in your Corn Flakes............:plbb
So mikling,
sorry to post this up again..........but can you please answer the question.
Is there any concern (in regards to head clogging) at this time in using the Magentas that were in the kits sold last Fall?
thank you,
-mike
OK first of all i find this thread to represent one of the finest in customer service.
Second, since i just purchased my first kit from you back in late Fall, should i be concerned about using the 3 colors mentioned?.........namely the clogging issue?
Third, i find that selling the 3 4oz...
I ran into this same thing when filling my first set of carts that i flushed from a used printer i got a couple weeks ago. All but the black wicked up as expected, but the black (dye ink) just stared at me on the reservoir side (top filling) as if to say "now what?":he...so a few taps on the...
After reading this entire thread i still have a question regarding the flushing and storing time for CLI-8 cartridges.
I chose this cartridge as Hat's advice made sense in that it will work on all 3 of my machines (chip switch for the Pro-100 understood).
mikling's videos on how to flush, refill...
You guys are killing me...........I thought i had things sorted after reading JT's thread, but now i have a whole new list.
I'm needing a machine that will just handle the files from a 70D, and want to spend around $1,000.00.
Wow Joe,
Your topic is great timing as i am upgrading my machine this coming year......won't be as Kickazz as yours by far, but you posting has made the choices for me a lot easier.
Mucho Graziazz.....:thumbsup

Thing is, i now take the using and maintenance of printers much more seriously than i use to.
Sure we can just plug and play all these consumer units, but knowing how to get the most from them is a lot of fun. Members like you that take the time to explain the fundamentals is priceless.

OMG!! thx, at least now i know i'm normal.................use to be that 2 of everything was fine for me, but this home away from home has got me buying stuff i never ever even considered in the past...........downloading latest updates, buying empty CLI-8 carts for good prices just so i...
After bragging about an i900d being on and off line for most of it's 10 year life without any signs of a clog, i came to realize that clogs are a buildup of time from using, drying and repeat until the internals of the head are coated with layers of wet and then dry ink....am i close on...
