PeterBj Thanks link worked this time and so far have managed to remove R/H cover. Next task to remove 5 cables from their sockets. Do you need a special tool to extract them some hidden catch?. I do not want to break anything, the ribbon cable pulls straight out.
PeterBj tried to download MP620 manua from your suggested link l but avira my anti-virus blocked it stating virus's etc. I have found Avira very reliable so deleted file. Have you had any problems with this site?
Lukasz /PeterBJ Thank you for your efforts. Current position PB channel now back to about 95% have tried cleaning wipers and general area with q tips but no improvement. The M/C seems to want to continuously head clean, if you can get it to stop will produce a normal print.
The part is too...
As you know not easy to get a good view in this area but the square plate seems really solid if the PGBK is touched on the right hand side it did tilt a little, but a gentle touch in the middle settled it again. Eyesight/viewing position did not enable me to see the little locating corners but...
While there are still some good service out there. I was using clear refillable 364,s in a HP and the ink which came with them. seemed OK but started to get the banding typical of poor cart feeding, yet carts were full. This went on for several weeks and then the printer just stopped printing...
Started with loud clicking/clanking sound every time a head clean took place. A nozzle check revealed no Photo Black several cleanings no improvement. Filled a spare cart with NEW ink no difference and all the time there is this racket going on.
I pulled the Print head flushed it through...
Thanks The Hat for useful suggestion. I have never seen these before, done all my refilling based on Pharmicist's excellent photos which are my home page. These videos explain a great deal more. But with the advent of the semi/fully opaque carts. it is a lot more difficult to know what is...
Cakehole I already have done this for some time but eventually ran into nozzles missing/banding on Cyan and worst Magenta. So for a while I switched to compatibles which completely cured the problem so suspected various used carts/ink.
Have just got a fresh supply of ink from Octoink and will...
From The Hats comments it looks like refilling is practically un-available on newer models.
But how come there are oceans of compatibles available probably from horrible to good. What have the manufacturers achieved? surely re fillers is a very small part of the market? Yet they do not seem...
Further to my difficulty with the United Office Ink Cart creating error messages on my Canon Pixma MP620.
I rang the customer complaints number, the very polite operator asked for the barcode from the box, this established it was January. He said would send a refund letter which I received 2...
Surely there must be plenty of professional photographers or other commercial operations/colleges etc who will print high quantities and only use OEM inks.
If there was a serious problem with the Pro9000/9500 printers surely Canon would soon get the complaints flooding in and have to solve the...
Yes these would appear to be the Peach version the drucker channel picture shows the PCB and rivet I referred to
and the chip swivels on a little block and like CakeHole suggests may not have sufficient pressure. I did not retain the receipt from Lidl so would probably not get much joy anyway...
These carts look different the chip lies horizontal but pivots on a little block up to the usual 45 degrees but the chip portion is also attached to the much longer pcb ribbon with the black rivet. The chip seems integral to the full length of the ribbon. The chip is NOT seperate like the OEM...
Thanks PeterBj for your detailed reply. My first thought was to change chip but it does seem a lot different the printed circuit continues at right angles for about another25mm with a large plastic rivet securing it in the middle. I will try and get a photo. Meanwhile I have ordered more...
Thanks for various suggestions. Error code is UO43. The chip attachment is totally different to the OEM and the contact area pivots on a little block. Unfortunately I bought these with some food so did not retain the receipt, which I always do for items with extended guarantees. Sorry PeterBJ...
A couple of months ago I was able to buy a complete set of inks which I carefully put away in a cool darkened cupboard. Today I tried the cyan and the printer refuses to acknowledge it. Tried pressing the yes button a couple of times but no joy. The red light is not on.
Maybe PeterBj or other...
zepat Congratulations this a great printer I own the same model and it produces a very good copy/scan/photograph.
Just keep eye on the PGBK output and do a regular nozzle check weekly recommended. Sometimes nozzles missing is down to the cartridge flow not being sufficient. Plenty of supplies...
I have been gathering the components to make up some of Pharmacist cleaning/conditioning solution. Ammonia is not easy to find in the UK particularly strong percentages. I purchased via Amazon some household ammonia strength not specified, now it has arrived the label says Ammonia less than 5%...
I normally keep about 3 sets of 520/521 carts refilled but like others have experienced flow problems and have always stored filled carts in air tight food containers. I am coming around to jimbo 123 method of filling an always WET FOAM cart. which certainly works wonders for him.
My printing...
