This printer is a complete plastic junk compared to the Ip4500 but it offers the same quality outputs as the ip4500. Non OEM and refillable carts are readilly available so ink refilling lives on.
I am still using refillable arc carts on my ip7250 with no problems and still refilling my ip4500...
Isan't it time for a new printer. In my experience stubborn ink blocks cannot be resolved in the long term. I've spent many a "Happy hour" trying to unblock printheads. Hot water is my prefered method but unless you have a top of the range model, it's often better to purrchase a new PH (if...
Belated reply but I'm still using my ARC chipped refillable cartridges with no problems on my IP4500 and ip7250 printers. Top filling does it for me. That's not to say that the German refilling system is inferior. It's probably just that my ham filling procedure just doesn't work for me.
The...
Looks like PH problem. Use the usual cleaning methods Removing the PH and give it a good flush is your best bet. Hot water works best IMO. If no success just buy another printer. Nothing can compare with the IP7250 for value. Refillable ARC carts will save you a fortune. Been using my IP7250...
Been using refillable carts on my ip7250 for 3 years (June 2015) with no problems at all . It's just like the old IP4000 days. These printers are cheap as chips as are the refillable carts. No need to spend ages on refilling. However, to spare the environment, slow filling and refilling before...
Just keeping up to date with Epson and now Canon printers with these tanks. Crazy prices and unless you go for the top of the range models you don't get WIFI or duplex printing. The old ip4000 did everything that these printers do, other than WIFI at a fraction of the price.
Refilling with...
I posted, several months ago that I had started using these arc carts in my IP7250 and IP4500 printers. The IP7250 was a no brainer because there isn't any other alternative that I'm aware of, other than buying already refilled carts.
The IP4500, so far, has been a revelation. No blockages or...
Really interesting. Epson has priced their Ecotank printers too high. If Canon price it's printers more realistically then it could catch on. Personally I doubt it.
I think you are seeking the impossible. I have 3 different Canon MFPs and none have great scanners, if you are looking for crisp photos with anything like true colours. They're good for documents etc but, IMO, you need a dedicated scanner for realistic scans. I was so fed up with the poor...
I'm not promoting ARC chips over OEM cart refilling. Just trying to prolong my PH life and trying something else. I've been using the German refilling method for several years and must have saved hundreds of pounds/dollars in the process. At the same time I've lost several PH's sometimes by just...
As expected opinion is split on this. The frailty of Canon print heads doesn't help this discussion. The loss of a Canon IP4500 is almost as bad as losing a relative (Just joking). Purists may decry the use of ARC carts but the quality is so much better than it used to be and I've not had one...
I've been refilling carts since the days of the IP4000 and have used the "German" method to refill OEM carts and saved upteen amounts of cash, so I've no real complaints about the refilling method I have used.
However, during this time I have "lost" several print heads, mainly due to clogging...
Arc refill cartridges are the way to go on these printers. Top filling so not the same problems as other methods. Been using these carts in my IP 7250 for several months now, with no problems. It's not the same as old fashioned refilling, you can only refill a cartridge once the printer tells...
Brilliant. I've rolled back from Creators Edition and everything's fine now. However, I've downloaded from your link and I'll keep it ready for when MS makes me update
Canon Easy Photo print no longer recognises my IP 4500 in Win 10. Been using it up to the Creators Edition.
I've a brand new IP 4500 in storage but looks like I've been wasting my time. If Canon don't get you, Microsoft will. Don't let the B--------- grind you down. Keep refilling or at least...
I've found that my carts, after a while, automatically reset after refilling, without using the resetter. Black and colour. It's a bit messy though but a cheap way of refilling. I love the fact that there are no sponges in the carts and therefore no problems with air locks like with my Canon...
