Could someone please explain in simple terms how this product works.
Do i just print my image then replace the black ink with the Gloss Optimizer and when reprinted it is just the GO that is used. I was planning to use it with my Epson DX and Canon IP 8750.

Can anyone recommend the best pigment ink for Epson printers.
I have been looking at Ocp and octoinkjet inks which one of those work best or is there another manufacturer which gives better results.

@Ink stained Fingers do you refill the cartridges the same way as I do my canon ones. Does the chip need to be reset.

@mikling thanks for your input. I think most people have made it clear that this is a experiment and you do it at your own risk but if you have any information you think would help it would be great if you could share it so we can get a better understanding of the things that can go wrong.

@Ink stained Fingers thanks for your quick reply if I am brave enough to try using pigment ink in my (4 month old) I will report back with the results.
I take it I would be able to use pigment ink for octoinkjet as I am based In the UK ??
Sorry if this is a stupid question but does this mean that my ip8750 would be able to use pigment ink for some images before switching back to dye ink

@Ink stained Fingers thank you for your recommendations they have cleared up alot of questions I had. Unfortunately I have a canon printer that uses dye ink
Hopefully someone who has also been testing can maybe offer some advice on the best canon combination.

I know there has been a lot big test going on for this subject can someone please summarise it all for us novices so we can get a starting point ie best paper best 3rd party ink combination. Then we can at least get the best quality without spending a lot of money on different inks etc
