@mikling thanks for your information. This may be a stupid question based on your post but can the G series ink be used to refill my ip8750 cartridges.
Thanks again for all your replies I have been using the set-up cartridges that came with my printer and as the hat said the quality is beautiful but as stated the price of replacing the cartridge is ridiculous.
I am just trying to find a good alternative and you guys are the best to ask.
Any...
@The Hat so if I refill my ip8750 cartridges with the Canon GL ink that will give me the best quality and fade resistance then any 3rd party dye ink I could buy.
I hope this is the case because I think this ink is reasonably priced .
Thanks again for all your help
@The Hat I appreciate what you are saying and I don't have a problem with the third party ink suppliers I just think that genuine canon ink should not fade before third party ink.
This whole subject of fading ink is starting to become an obsession.
What I am wondering is does anyone know what Canon put in there ink to prevent fading.
How can a major company like Canon sell a printer, that it states can print pictures, with ink that fades surly this is doesn't conform to the fit for purpose law that is meant to guard customers rights.
The other thread you mentioned showed the same results with their Gl ink !!!!
Thanks for sharing your results.
If I was to use Fuji ink in my canon ip8750 would I just use an original canon grey. I can't see a Fuji DL grey in any of my internet search results.
A lot of what is getting spoken about her is over my head but as I have said before I thought that the idea of forums like this was for people to share their knowledge and help others out.
I have found that ALMOST everyone on here has been of the same mindset but there's always one .....
Could someone please recommend a good company that I could use to generate profiles for my Canon ip8750 .
What would be a good price for a good profile.
Thanks
Can someone please tell me if you can refill cartridges for the canon 9500 without buying a resetter.
What are the pros and cons of this if it can be done.
Thanks
Thank you for taking the time to add your thoughts. That is all I am looking for just combinations that people are happy with.
If more members would like to add their ink / paper set up it would be much appreciated.
Thanks again
I use two types of paper canon glossy and ilford but I am willing to try anything. I was just looking for someone who does photography to say he has had good results by using a canon printer with this ink and this paper.
Nothing scientific just that they were pleased with the results. There's...
Hi
It has been discussed on various forums that different ink can perform better on different papers.
So can you please post what ink and paper you are using that gives the best results.
Thanks
