Stratman thanks for the help. I was able to download My Printer 2.9.5 and MP Driver 1.02 but MP Navigator 2.02 did not complete. Will try again after midnight and see if it will download.

Thanks Stratman. I am attempting to install the MP500 on another computer with a fresh install of Win XP so there is no scanning software installed This is the first MP printer I have tried to download drivers for so I am lost.

I have downloaded the driver for the MP500 on my Windows XP Home Edition computer and the printer will print but not scan. Under software downloads Canon lists Easy Photo Print and MP Navigator, Do I have to have these installed before the MP500 will scan?

Does Canon have a universal printer driver like HP uses? HP uses the DeskJet 550C driver as a universal driver so you only need that driver installed to check out a HP printer.

sathyakala you are correct and I was wrong. Set up my 100 mL Burette and double checked. Each plastic bottle holds approximately 66 mL which is 2.23 oz. Ok 2 OZ = 59.147mL and my bottles only have approximately 52 mL each. So it looks like the bottles are only 7mL short. Being picky again...

Each one of these 2 fluid oz bottles of dye base ink are fluid oz short. My last order of ink was the same way so is this a common practice for ink vendors to short each bottle of ink? I know I am picky so I ask the members of this forum am I being treated fairly?
