Are the inks in the old printer in date ? been open a long time ? Has the paper been sealed the whole time ?

Hi I have brought a used Epson 7900 and been printing most evenings for 2 weeks. However tonight I could not get a decent print out of it at all. I suppose the only change is that I left the roll paper loaded last night over night. Every other time I have removed the paper and bagged it up...
