    Need help with MB5120

Yeah, they don't sell that Ajax Kitchen in the US. Sounds like it might be similar to Formula 409 in the US.

I'm not sure what you mean by the nozzle check is good to go. They are still not perfect and I'm still getting streaks on printed pages. Granted I've only tried to print one picture after a couple of different flushes. How many printed pages do you feel would get the nozzle check perfect?

    Need help with MB5120

I guess it's possible that the head is electrically damaged but each print check for black fills in more and more blocks so I wouldn't think it is electrical. It just seems weird that it is not totally unclogged as many times as I have cleaned this. It sounds like I just need to keep cleaning it.

It's getting there. I took a syringe I had and hollowed out the end to be able to fit it over the end of the inlet tube. There are a couple of streaks in the colors but black is still the bigger problem but it's getting better.

Well I got the colors flushed out but of course the black is still blocked. It's been soaking most of the day yesterday and overnight. It printed a tiny bit of black when I first tried but there doesn't seem to be any fluid coming out when I try to force some through the inlet. I had been...

I realize you are recommending dishwashing liquid, however would it hurt the printhead to use alcohol, ammonia, or window cleaner (with ammonia)? I have used these in the past on other printheads. Are Maxify printheads more delicate?

Thanks for the response. How do you remove the printhead? Can you use alcohol and/or ammonia on this printhead?

    Need help with MB5120

I think the printhead is clogged. This printer seems new even though I got it second hand. I have done a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning and both patterns look the same. I see some yellow and a little black on the paper but the patterns are not there. Also I am getting error 2500 when I...

Anyone know where I can get a SM for a MB5120?

Yes SM means service manual. So there is no service manual to be had? Could I get one from Canon customer service?

Do these printers have a rear paper feed?

    Which Maxify do you recommend?

I assume they are all refillable. I'm in the US. I'm looking for something equal to a MX870. Are there any deals to be had on one? Thanks!
