Keep the Nozzle Clean By Scheduled Printing
---
This printer is capable of ePrint and WebApp. If you don't print it a few times per week, you can have the ePrint do it for you. Just register for schedule delivery of any WebApp you like and it will auto print it for you - keep the nozzles from...
Users use OEM ink cartridges likely have no reasons to disable the ink monitoring. Disabling ink monitoring is likely one of the way to let the manufacturers know that a refilled ink cartridges are being used. ;)
So if one is taking the printer to the service, remember to turn the ink monitoring...
In my country, people are using Epson WF-30 a lot, with a CISS and a set of ARC chip. With ARC chip, it is advised that you use consistantly: all ARC chip, or none. Mixing them would likely cause funny output. ;)

Which paper I'm using with this printer?
---
I use IK Plus and PaperOne, A4, 80gsm for printing documents, duplex! (PaperOne is slightly better esp. if you're using dye black ink.) There's also PaperOne A4 100gsm, but it's quite thick and may pressure the printer mechanics parts! I rarely use...
Some manufactures trick us: If they detect refilled cart being used, the logic board will make the cleaning cycle longer, more thorough and consume much more ink...
I'm HP. With HP printers, the difference is HP Officejet now use all pigmented ink for CMYK, since HP assume you don't print and demand high quality photo on glossy paper! HP Deskjet and Photosmart use CMY dye and K pigmented <-- I prefer this way most since I can print good office documents as...
What Happened When I Refilled My HP with Epson Ink?
---
First of all, I would like to say that you should never ever do this. I did this accidentally anyway!
If you put Epson ink into an HP printhead, at first your nozzles will work okay, but after only 3-4 pages things gonna worse. The ink...
Hi @rajivsamra ,
As in my post, the first time I refilled with the wrong ink:: CMY still OEM and K refilled with Epson pigmented: it instantly clogged my pigmented black nozzles.
The second time:: CMY refilled with Epson dye, K refilled with Epson dye black: it works for 3-4 pages then the...
I use PaperOne A4 80gsm (Here they do sell 100gsm but I see it's a little bit too thick, and expensive also.). Printing double-size with dye black ink and pigmented black ink. Cheated by set the color not purely black but 80% grey, and then go print. ;)
Hi cls,
T50/60 is not a MFP and thus doesn't fit my family needs well.
Yes, I also like the WF-3521, but unfortunately in Vietnam people don't have ARC chip and CIS system for it. We don't even have resetter for it and most of new Epson cart, and all Canon cartridges as well. Your link offer a...
Hi websnail,

So to sum up, the old Epson + CISS is still worth more than the new Epson L series!
After my HP die, I would like to have an MFP Epson printer for home use with CISS. + wifi/lan + duplex + iPrint. Can use both dye + pigmented especially Black for printing document.
What would you reccommend...
Hi pharmacist,
So, I could sum up like this: thermal printhead use thermal ink, but piezo printhead use piezo ink as well as thermal ink => piezo (Epson) is super-hero!! :D
Some say that thermal ink contain a little bit more water to cope with boiling, while piezo ink is much thicker. A...

Yes, the printhead of this model is permananted and fixed...
Basically I prefer a printer with CMY dye to print pictures and K pigmented to print office document. I think it's the best balance. If I would print mostly photo then I will refill with all dye. If I would print mostly color office documents then I will refill with all pigmented.
Epson printer...
Thanks! Although many of them are not for printer calibration but the monitor, however I see it's still useful for the printer as well :D
There is a greyscale picture which people can use to test their printer ability to produce exact "gray". Printed on my printer will barely acceptable result...
