I enhanced it , and cropped it, so that you can see. Note that this is not what i see. I see grey fainted spots, like watermarks. In order to understand better what i see, remove the black spots, and think that the grey areas around them, cover all the page like waves.

I've searched the service manual for the word "corona wire" (to see exactly were it is) and have not found it. Is it possible that it is described with another word? If not, could you describe to me where i can find it?

I use compatibles for my laser printers, for years. In fact i think the only original cartridges i 've ever used, are the ones the printers came with (and then refilled them a few times before turning to compatibles). Both my HP 1020 and Laserjet 1600 work fine, since 2006-2007. Go fot it!

It's pretty simple, like the friends above described. I used to do it myself for my 1020, but now i just buy a compatible. Here in Greece the 2612A compatibles are pretty cheap. Almost as cheap as buying the powder.
