Blimey this was a nail biting thread. I feared the worst as I started reading and then got to the finale where the hero pulls out a win... Well done @silverpixel89, it sounds like you really paid attention to the info' provided.
Just out of interest did you manage to reset it first time or did...
I have a beat up ET-2750 in the workshop that hasn't been thrown out yet. I'll try to remember to take a look tomorrow and see if I can spot where that plastic bit has sprung from.
Thanks for sharing that... One small nugget based on what I experienced with the Pro-300 recently... The printhead carriage can in some instances jog itself out of its resting position when handled roughly during transit so there may be a way to release the carriage without needing to...
As an aside, we had an ink that was particularly poor when it came to fade resistance and it was actually sought by one of our customers specifically because of this. He was a wedding photographer who was fed up of clients keeping the samples (even with watermarks) as their final prints so...
I'm going to lean back on the original post from Emulator that shows his comments about increasing the Greyscale patches.
As to the technical hurdles of actually getting it to scan I modified my reader setup to use a drawing board and an improved caddy that just made the whole process a lot...
While we're UK based I can ship to the EU so if there's enough interest to warrant a minimum order I'd be happy to get something organised. We already have the bottles, bottling and sealing equipment and the like so it'd be relatively easy to sort.
TBH, I've been watching the results generated...
Thanks for that input... Interested as to why you're using a cleaning solution rather than a non-active ink base though. I'd have thought that a cleaning agent would have had unwelcome effects on the ink longevity, particularly with the pigment ink where it might cause flocculation but...

*mutters incantations and sprinkles small amounts of OEM ink around to resurrect the long moribund thread to share its secrets in this earthly realm of 2022*

Okay, so I've been looking at the whole Epson OEM inks 106 and 114's with a view to creating a Light Magenta and Light Cyan...
I had a thought... It might actually be that in the US, the laws regarding use of an OEM ink as part of a remanufactured product may be more problematic for remanufacturers than in say the EU. OEM's like to throw out the issue of "counterfeits" and may be able to block any such efforts better in...
Thanks for your summary @Ink stained Fingers ... It's interesting that there has been this disconnect by sales zone and I do wonder if the issue is that of differing chemical safety requirements in the EU (for example) compared to North America (as suggested by @ClarenceL).
Does make a bit of a...
Took me a couple of seconds to get what you meant... Yeah, putting video content in the actual product pages is definitely a good idea but a technical hurdle I need to address as the store I use is out of date for embedding videos at the moment.
Thanks... Appreciate the vote of confidence.
It's the old age... happens to us all... :hide
Ah... Noted.. Classic example of assumption on my part. The actual kit we sell includes one syringe per colour but I took that for granted and didn't highlight it as a result.
Those carts only have a max capacity of 20ml which I find to be a...
Thanks for the nudge... I'm keenly aware that it's an area that I've lacked the motivation to dig into when there's so ruddy much else to do, but yeah... I need to do the work across the board. First I need to learn P
Good ole curiosity ;)
I'll take that on board... I use a lapel mic to get a...
Put a couple more videos on the channel in the last 24 hours so if anyone is of a mind to comment on the newer format that'd be appreciated.
I don't want to plug anything so feel free to send by PM if that's preferred.
I'd recommend trying a cheap set of compatible cartridges and try installing those to see if the printer recognises those first.
If it does then the problem is your CIS chip setup...
If the cartridges are all recognised right up until you install the last cartridge, then it's likely that some...
I've searched here in the UK and there's loads of the 20 sheets variant. From what I can see the 50 sheet pack has been discontinued which would explain problems finding it.
