I used to refill these for years. I still have an HP that I occasionaly use and refill the carts. You are right in saying they are much harder to refill. Yes do not run the cart dry. I refilled mine when they were about 1/2 empty. Then let them sit for about 8 or more hours in a tray of...
Well Im finally getting around to making a comment on fotofreeks findings. He is right the precision color inks are still cheaper than anything Ive been buying from printerfillingstation.com. I even had a promo code that gave me another 20% off their prices but my total bill still ended up...
ThrillMozila, I cant make out the pic you posted . I can see plastic tubing with the blue lettering but the rest ?????????? Can you explain. I originally asked if its possible to flush a cart using the outlet and pushing the dirty water out of the vent.??? All my carts do not have a top fill...
Using one of these gadgets like the Hat has shown, where is the dirty water expelled if you do not have a top hole or the ball removed. Some will come out the vent but how do you get the tank side clean oposite the sponge?
Using a cart that has the german filling hole drilled into the sponge...
After looking at that list of sites selling ink that everybody likes I would like to know if anybody is using ink form the printerfillingstation. "http://www.printerfillingstation.com/" Ive been using them for over 10 years now and find the ink is excellent and the price is right. Ive used...
I hear what you are saying but I must say that once I opened the hole up to 5/32 dia it was fairly easy to inject the ink slowly. I just finished filling 2 carts that started out at 19.5 grams and filled them to 23.8 and 24.2 grams. I weighted a new cart at 24.2 so for all practical purposes...
The cart nos are T125 1,2,3,4, According to the people I bought the ink from (printerfillingstation.com)they also say these are very hard to refill and they do not recomend refilling OEM carts but they do give instructions on how one might do this with a lot of patience. By drilling a hole on...
Hat, I hear what you are saying and thats probably the thing to do and chalk it up to experience, but ------ like I said what are the REmanufacturers doing with their carts. I still believe there is an answer out there somewhere. So I guess I will keep on looking and meanwhile pick up...
Is there anybody out there selling a chip I could use on these OEM carts that would ignore the wet sensor. How are the remanufacturers handling this . They must have a way of getting around the wet sensor.???
So I guess what you guys are saying is that these completely empty carts that I have are scrap. This internal "wet sensor" cannot be replaced so the printer will always reject it and refuse to print???
so can I still use the refilled cart even though the resetting didnt work because it was used til it was completely dry. Or will the printer completely reject it and not print.????????????????
Just going to start refilling these carts for a friend. He has given me about 20 empties he has been saving. Now I find out if the cart is completely empty this "wet sensor that can detect when all the ink is used up, supposedly makes the cart useless??? Is this true? If so does anyone have a...
And I totaly agree 100%. All work and no play would make this site not half as interesting. For years I tried to refill HP carts with no help available. Now anybody can get info on most any printer just by asking. All my orginal question required was a llittle more searching on my part and I...
Well that makes it all CRYSTAL clear. Well I guess I will be content to be a lowly particapator for now and just continue to express my methods and research. :caf
