It is my understanding that the problems - misprints - happend with sveral printheads in a row which still let me think that the problem is with the printer somewhere and not with the printhead(s) in the first place. Could it be that the tubing is somewhere squeezed on the way from the ink...
No, the ink tubes connect to dampers, white cartridge like inserts into the printhead carriage, and the ink passes through the dampers and the filter to the ink connectors at the printhead - these should be replaced
dampers like these here - but there are more offers...
I'm running a L805 which uses the same printhead, and I'm at 56 000 pages with the first printhead. It could be that the dampers - the cartridge inserts in the printhead - are clogged and don't let enough ink passing. There is a litle wire mesh filter inside which clogs up, and there is no...
Could you please post the nozzle check as well. What type of ink are you using - OEM or 3rd party refill ? How much did you print so far - the nozzle check should tell.
Epson is running a cashback action in Germany - and advertising a new model of an Ecotankprinter at the same time - bigger than all previous Ecotank printers ; I haven't seen any technical data yet - it appears to be an A2 desktop combo ... and Usain Bolt is apparently happy with it - he just...
No, they don't; Mike does his own inks . I just mentioned precisioncolors as an alternate supplier serving the U.S./Canada region and creating less shipment hazzles than with import duty etc. from Germany.
OCP inks are distributed by Octopus- office

Just enter 'OCP' into the search field, and you'll get a list of OCP inks for Canon and HP.
Please contact them to check if they would ship to your country.
I rather would recommend to look for a domestic...
Let me update the fading results after 1 year with the patch sheets kept in the dark, but w/o any specific additional archiving precautions e.g. albums with acid free paper, special boxes or whatever. It appears to me that some ink/paper combinations are drifting slower since the last report - 9...
The printer may use smaller droplets for the high quality mode, and these are located in another nozzle row. Canon nozzles can only print one droplet size, Epson nozzles can be controlled by the driver for several different droplet sizes.
I must admit I don't get it what you want to acheive. Vegetable inks for refill are on the market and can be purchased.
And you may look up the MSDS - Material Data Safety sheets for Epson inks if you want to use Epson printers, these MSDS will tell you an approximate contents of an ink - water...
A general statement for all Canon printers is just not possible, it depends on the product model. Your printer might be listed in the WicReset software, and you need to replace the waste ink pads yourself. Other printers have a maintenance box - with a chip. Resetters might be available from...
I have not seen any bottle for the Ecotank printers - 102, 106, 114, 664 and more - on which you could not unscrew the top of the bottle - it's pretty tight and you might have to use a tool. Give it another try.
Looking around for the specs of the Pro 1000 and Pro 1100 I recognize that Canon is publishing a droplet size of 4 pl in the Druckkopf - Printhead section for the Pro 1000
https://www.canon.de/printers/inkjet/pro-photo-printers/imageprograf-pro-1000/specifications/
This is a very rare instance...
I'm not really getting it - Canon is claiming a significant improvement of the longevity, a better matte black and better scratch resistance - this inkset just could run on the existing Pro-1000 model - with a firmware and driver update, I don't see the need for new and heavier hardware - with...
I'm reading that Canon has announced the successor of the Pro-1000 - the Pro-1100 with a new inkset Lucia Pro 2 with a 3x better longevity than the previous inks.

Your tests confirm may findings I made quite some time ago - before Corona - with the P400 printer. I tested a range of inks and papers, there is wide variability in the gloss and bronzing behaviour between all those. This was the time I tested as well a separate GO gloss optimizer overprint, I...
I would consider your case as a warranty case with the dealer, you got a cartridge from him which is not working, and if you are already a longer time customer of that company they should have an interest to fix your problem. They should give you a replacement cartridge in exchange of the defect...
