It appears that that's a European only model, an additional gray and "red." All dye inks.
Do you know if the GI53 would be drop in for other G printers? After all, there are five ink types here just in the US.
Not a mention that I could find about being Chromalife or anything hinting at...
I'm sure this has been asked or commented on before, but I sure can't find anything with the Search function. Nada, zero, zip. This is more of a curiosity question than thinking I'm going to sell archival prints or something. Or worrying about prints in the house light.
For the cost per ml...
Setting aside so many other criteria, pluses and minuses about this Canon series....AND I would presume Epson's Eco Tanks....it's wonderful to print and print and print w/o dreading the next round of refilling cartridges.

I see this popped up again. I"m not going to go through all six pages, but permit me to point out that polyethylene is vapor permeable. Your head will dry out in a Ziplock bag. As is, FYI, polypropylene. Take a bottle of water, thin walled, and in a year it will be collapsing as osmotic...
I more than appreciate all of the answers to my many questions in the last few weeks as I transition to a G2060 for hum drum daily use, including my questions about available Mega Tank CYM colors that I can use in my PRO-100. I realize that the latter has photo versions of some colors...

I have the service manual for the i4300. Links, sources for the other two printers?
Many thanks!
Major props to you for going where no printer geek has gone before, to the best of my knowledge!
I have two dead printer heads for my beloved iP4500's. I'm trying to resurrect them. Just put into a solution for an overnight soak, but if that doesn't work, I'll follow your advice.
My several old factory heads are of the 0075 type. Molded into the plastic. I wonder why Canon would have two heads for the same printer and function. I'm aware that often the heads for, say, Japan, are different from North America.
So, I ordered a G2260 from Amazon. Days after setting up the printer I realized that they sent a G2060! The latter uses the same drivers, no surprise there.
Am I missing out on anything not having the G2260?
Since Canon no longer keeps "old" (two years?) printers up on line, I have no way of...
