i have done the print head deep cleanings on my 3750 a number of times and still my nozzle check is not great so i was thinking about changing the printhead. What are the opinions on doing this myself. I tend to fix most things myself.

It was actually nicer than when i did an OCR version which had a lot of artifacts.

i periodically want to print long out of print documents/books/PDFs that have yellowing from age , without the "age related yellowing".
i am wondering if it is possible to dial out everything but black when printing?

I've had a Epson ET3750 for probably a 3-4 years or more ?? and no complaints. i use it for household printing for the two of us and occasional book printing/scanning, legal also/ photocopy/. I like the ecotank especially, no lockdown if the cartridge runs out at an inopportune...

i have a PDF of a vintage document circa 1840 and am about to print it. There is a yellow colouration on otherwise B&W pages. Is there a way to eliminate it during printing?
I have an Apple computer BTW
I just printed off a paper with Best Quality selected and it is perfect, so my guess is that the printer defaults to lower quality to save ink.

i find that my Epson ET-3750 has the same issue. I have not examined it to the degree you have but things come out with anything from a slightly faded to faded, whether it is text or pictures. However with my prior HPs everything was crisp and clear.
However i do not absolutely need perfect...
i am hand writing a letter which is quite long, so i would like to print the lines to follow to keep it neat, on an acetate transparency sheet.
Then i will put the lined sheet under the sheet i am hand-printing on as a guide to keep it neat.
