Thanks @Nifty, he is.. But most find OpenScad too difficult to use, but give it a fair go and you’ll find its quite easy. It grows on you..

I only got a chance to watch this video yesterday and low and behold I’ll nick part of his code to make something I’m actually working on right now.

Isn’t 3D printing the Cats Whiskers.. ideal for LockDown..

You can never tell when some 3D objects can come in handy..

I needed end pieces for my fence, (Not yet erected) and was in the middle of designing a cone or spear type piece when @Nifty posted this video from Clive.

Its saved me having to make up my own object, and with just a few number changes I was able to produce this test print 180 x 80 mm cone, and its perfect for what I want, all that’s needed now is to design a shaped base to fit the columns.

I’ll do the finished prints (6) it in the same colour as the fence, and it’s all thanks to Clive for designing his Christmas lights…

I was able to get these little fairy light cones to the strength I wanted and then made up a design to fit the top of the fence, and just to be different I decided to use this gold filament instead of green that I got in from AliExpress. It will go well with the green..

Are these going to light up? We're going to need a picture of them installed and glowing at dusk.

Nope that is not my intention, light will not pass through these cones, they are for decoration purposes only..

Decoration ?.. I thought at first that their purpose was to dissuade occasional passers-by to sit on top of your fence.

That’s to clamp onto the fence pole uprights..
