I have an HP 7500A - E910a I am trying to use on an HP PC with Windows 10.
I cannot get past the message “General Error” 0x61011beb. HP Print & Scan Doctor says there is a problem with “Device Status” and then to check trays/doors/paper jams & that the carriage moves (all good), then to “Clear any error on printer display” and retry – I can’t clear the display or get past that.
One online suggestion was ‘update firmware’, but when I try to connect it online, I still can’t get past the error message! My driver seems to be the latest.
Strangely, I can scan on it ( driven from the PC).
Any assistance would be very much appreciated!
