Exactly that question, it seems my yellow runs out faster than the cyan and magenta which is weird cause on my settings yellow is usually on -5 so technically cyan should run out before because it is 0.

So what color does everyone on here seem to be using faster than the others?

Yellow.

It depends on what you print.

depends on the printer. Six color printers like my i960 use photo cyan and photo magenta (more diluted forms of C and M) at a greater than two to one ratio over the other inks. Yellow comes next for most use and black seems to be the least used. I use this printer exclusively for photo printing. If you were to use it for a general purpose printer and printed text documents you would use more black. Four color printers (plus the fifth black pigment ink printer) like my ip5000 will use yellow most. Probably because it is used more for blending colors than the others.

On my Epson R200/220 CISS, the yellow ink tank is just as large as black. So yes, yellow does get used a lot.

Judging by what I sell, it would have to be yellow for everyday printers.. For those who use photo printers, it's photo magenta, photo cyan, and yellow.
