Canon sells ink in bottles such as the GI-290 yellow. Has anyone tried using this ink in a CLI 42 yellow cart? They both use the same dye and the same bases. I would like to use the bottles ink to solve the yellow jello problem when swapping between Precision Colors and OEM inks.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.

@DMC33, Nope, you can’t mix that stuff with CLl-42 yellow, besides that GI-290 yellow sold in bottles by Canon is nothing short of coloured water, it fades like crazy...

The only yellow you can mix into the CLl-42 cart is CLl-42 yellow, everything else will cause Yello Gello, just swap the cart for a CLl-8 cart, job done..
