I'm always asked by people what printer to buy or refilling after
I'm a bit of an expert on refilling the older printers (Canon only)

But don't know about others

Assuming that someone wants to buy a new printer, for which they want to refill...

They should buy the printer that will do exactly the job they want it for because there’re not point in getting a big useless paper weight that will just sit at the end of their desk and not be used much, but can be refilled easy !
