Mapsy has the blue resetter on Ebay for $22.55 shipped.I am still using an MP780(no chips),but will eventually go to an ip4200 when it finally dies(uses CLI8 chipped cartridges)......so I'll need a resetter then.

Do you guys feel resetters will be around at these prices for a long while..or should I get one now and store it(would remove the 3 batteries)?I have 3 new ip4200 printers so I plan to refill for a long time! Thanks for advice.Fred

At that price I think I would get one to have and hold. Can't believe that the price will come down that much more. But - I bought one from her about two months ago for twice that price. Personally I wouldn't bother removing the batteries. There is a switch that turns the electronics on when a cartridge is inserted. I don't think there is any current drain when no cartridge is inserted. Maybe someone else knows for sure. Mine has gone a month between uses and the batteries still seem OK.

Thanks,Steve

The price does seem to be very good and not likely to go down much.
