Dear All,
about a year ago i took my WF-5620 apart to thoroughly clean the print head as a number of the black nozzles were blocked, as well as some odd coloured ones. It was a real pain getting it back together again, and the end result was good improvement to the printed page, but not perfect (still some odd nozzles not working). Since then, it has got worse, and i am really worried when printing barcodes for Covid tests, vaccines, and flight check ins, that at some point soon, one will fail to work and someone will miss a flight because of it.
I had planned to just buy a new printer, but i've still got a number of genuine ink carts so thought i would try and change the whole print head if it's not going to be too expensive. Can anyone suggest where i might get hold of one at a good price?
thanks,
Russ

Would it not be easier to call it a day on this printer and buy a new one, as you say look at the consequences if it fails to print properly for you..

Is that worth it for just a few miserable carts.. ? :hide

Yes you are probably correct, just don't like the incredible waste of throwing something out when a spare part would probably solve the issue.
I've bought another Epson.
