Hello:

I recently rescued an old Encad Croma24 printer from the junk pile, it has to be at least 15 years old. The printer came with two set of KYCM cartridges all of which were empty. I have been able to get one set working and I'm pleased with the results. I'd like some new cartridges but can't find any after many searches on the web. One supplier told me Lexmark cartridges should work but I'm not sure which one will work. The original part numbers are Encad 208166-1, Encad 208166-2, Encad 208166-3, Encad 208166-4.

I've taken some photos to assist anyone who might be able to help but I'm new here and don't have that privilege yet.

If I get some cartridges I may try to make a CIS for the printer as I'm sure it must use a lot of ink to print wide pages.

Thank you all.

Hello Santer:

Encad was purchased by Kodak I believe and not too many years afterwards I believe they stopped supporting the Croma 24 series.

Thanks for your reply, I'll visit the OverstockIt site. I have seen the Encad site and they don't seem to have anything listed.
