I have some extra bottles of Stratitec Photo Magenta left over from sets I bought in the last couple of years. Is it possible to add a few drops of this or that to simulate regular Magenta ink? I saw this somewhere on an instruction sheet for some refill kit I no longer have. Thanks in advance from the USA! :)

Pharmacist is right. Photo inks are lighter versions of regular inks. They may have as little as 1/7 the color of the regular ink. There is nothing you could add to increase the concentration of the color except more color. And where do you get that from? Regular ink.

If you are think of adding some concentrated coloring like food color, how would you know how much to add and how would you know what color to add? You might just as well go into the ink supply business your self.

Even if you were thinking about going the other way, converting magenta into photo magenta by adding water, it would not be recommended.
