Refillable cartridges, what's the difference

I have an HP Photosmart C6280 which uses HP 363 cartridges. My understanding from reading other posts on this forum is that these are not refillable (correct me if I am wrong). I've looked at a number of refillable cartridge alternatives and there seems to be a huge variation in cost.

e.g. Impact Computers charges 12.95 for a set,
Ink Express charges 20.88,
and City Ink Express charges 43.20.
All of these prices are for the empty cartridges.
Is there any difference between these? How do I choose?

I asked City Ink Express why there's were so much more and they say it is because they offer a 12 month warranty, lifetime support, and better quality ink. I was planning to get my ink from elsewhere, to use Image Specialists ink.

Any advice or information appreciated.

You should get in touch with Martin at Octoink (UK) or Mike at Precision Colors (Canada) & they will tell you all you need to know & they can supply you with the Image Specialists inks for your HP printer at great prices.

Rodbam, what can you tell me about non-OEM ink? I own one of the HP Photosmart printers as well (specs here: http://www8.hp.com/uk/en/products/printers/gateway-index.html), and I would like to reduce my printing costs as much as possible.
As rodbam suggested why dont you click here > www.octoink.co.uk/categories/Bulk-Ink/HP-Inks/
and have a look at their inks.

If you see something you want and are not quite sure about it then use their email facility and any questions
or doughs you may have will be answered for you personally by Martin..:)
