Redsetter - only flashing light

I am running the Redsetter (red model) and when I originally bought it, when I reset an ink cartridge (CLI-8, etc.) it would make one quick flash then it would stay lit. Now I only get the one single flash and NO steady light. It still seems to be resetting the chips as the cartridges are being accepted but I find it curious that it doesn't work as before. Has anyone else noticed this? Is this something I should be concerned about? Or is this just plain 'operator error.' Thanks for any comments..

Hi speedracer,

the moste likely cause is: your battery is running out of current. With some cutting it is quite easy to replace the battery.
