I posted earlier that my resetter was only giving me one blip and then nothing and the ink cartridges were being rejected. It turns out that the battery (button cell 3v) was weak. Replaced it and it worked as it had always worked in the past. The cartridges inserted were once again read and accepted. The battery costs almost $4.75 and given they don't last that long I opted for another option on being able to reset my cartridges. Purchased a 3 v.dc. 500 ma regulated and filtered power supply from Radio Shack. Also purchased the appropriate tip and barrel. Drilled into the back of the resetter and installed the 'jack' into the unit. Making sure to keep the polarity correct I soldered wires to the jack and then to the battery holder on the ckt board. When done plugged the power supply cable plug into the jack and then plugged the transformer on. It WORKED PERFECTLY. Placed an ink cartridge on it and got the blink and then the solid light. Cuts back on having to buy batteries (mine is NO LONGER installed) but can be should something happen to the wall unit. Hope this help anyone else thinking of doing this..

A regulated ac adapter is a over kill, just get a 3-aaa battery holder.
